SHRI’s ADVICE ON JUNIOR – SENIOR RELATIONS

This is the backbone as most important thing of any healthy work culture. I as always advised everyone and I trust that Seniors always put their best to all Junior’s skills and productivity enhancements and Juniors too in turn respect them as their Mentor, however I would like to repeat few things for you all to help you make better Relations…

i) Oath for Everyone: Whoever I am, regardless of my Designation/Experience, I never would have an EGO and would first act as one of the best Team Member to help others to help myself gain their respect.

ii) For Juniors: Remember College Days… when Seniors always pretend how cruel they are but they always supported you, and helped you in all sense wherever needed and their initial ragging or strictness was also to help you get moulded in the College Environment & to the Real World. Same thing applies here as well and you will find it true once you start thinking about it, and would find the most cruel senior you might be thinking is somehow helping you to grow and mature in some sense.
Let’s not forget our cultural values such as “गुरुर्ब्रह्मा, गुरुर्विष्णुः गुरूर्देवो महेश्वरा:” and give atleast a cent of that respect to our seniors for whatever they are helping you.

iii) For Seniors: My personal advice to all seniors is to treat all juniors as your own younger brother and since you are being given the status of “Guru”, do proper justice to it by treating them well. Respect cannot be gained forcefully, Respect is earned and that too with you attitude, not with what you know but with what you can transform into them. At times if needed, be strict but always in a humble way with Soft Voice. Kindly do avoid making any statements to hurt anyone personally nor to embarrass anyone.
