Five Professional Traits Derived From the word C.O.V.I.D

मुश्किलें जरुर हैं, मगर ठहरा नही हूँ मैं,
मंज़िल से जरा कह दो, अभी पहुंचा नही हूँ मैं !

Amid this Covid-19 disaster, I picked these lines to motivate you to keep working for your personal or professional goals while staying safe at your home. This slowdown can be taken as an opportunity to talk to yourself, enjoy your achievements and work for the improvements of your flaws that you can find after self-realisation in isolation. Swami Vivekananda once said “Talk to yourself once in a day otherwise you may miss an opportunity to meet a wonderful person”.

Today the hottest topic of the world is Corona or the COVID. We have heard and read this ‘COVID’ word so any times that it started looking scary and is in our thoughts all the time, I am trying to drive 5 traits from every human-being to adapt in one’s personal and professional life. Hopefully we can change the scary perception of the word COVID while memorising these below mentioned five traits starting with each one of the five letters of the word ‘COVID’:

C – Confidence.
Confidence is not when everyone likes you, confidence is when they do not like you and still you have guts to say that you are right.

O- Optimistic.
Nothing in nature blooms all year, we have to be patient and always be Optimistic. Being optimistic I mean to say to believe in your path.
“It is optimistic to decide walking on the path even if it’s too rough rather to say the road is too rough to walk.

V – Value.
Stop complaining, Start giving Value to what you have. Value your life, value your family, value your friends, value your job, and value your fortune. Value everything that we have because there are millions less fortunate as we are.

I – Innovative or Imaginative.
Albert Einstein said “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but the Imagination”. So we shall try to think differently better to do things better. Nurture your sense of Innovation.

D – Diligent.
This one simple word Diligent means a lot, it means performing with care, that too with intense focus and concentration. And hence we shall attain diligence through our act of accuracy, never give up approach and habit of doing things better. Concentration is the key. Focus on your goal.

I hope you would practice these 5 qualities in your life. Let’s continue to obey government guidelines of lockdown to fight this COVID19 Pandemic and keep utilising this time for maintaining our work-life balance. In this situation of slow down, lockdown and the global crisis I remember these lines to keep our motto high and to learn the importance of yet another trait i.e PATIENCE….

जो वक़्त की बिसात पे तू हौसले बिछाएगा,
फ़लक नही है दूर फिर सितारे तोड़ लाएगा |

Thank You!
