Once there was a girl,
With hair that had curls.
Betty was her name,
And at school she had no fame.
Smartness was what she wanted,
But foolishness was what she inherited,
She was stupid and had no fun,
And her friends were none.
Betty thought she was smart,
But no, she was no.
And one day, the bullies at school,
Told her that she was a big, big fool.
She felt bad,
And sat in an empty class,
Then there came a couple, very glad.
There held a conversation between them,
While Betty clutched her shirt’s hem.
They got to know each other,
And there was no one whom they wanted to bother.
Alike were they,
And now they were never gonna fall.
Bullies were the ones whom they taught,
That it were the smart FOOLS whom they fought.
So, remember this always,
That alone you have a few ways,
But togetherness was the thing where the power lays.
