Today on the occasion of Senior Citizens Day, I wish to express my best wishes and gratitude to every senior citizen. Your contribution is enormous whether it is to be considered for the nation building, social development or in character building and wellbeing of the generation which I belong to. We truly love you, respect you and we owe a great responsibility to look after you.

कौन पहुँचता है अपनी आखिरी मंजिल तक|
हर किसी के लिए थोडा आसमान बाकी है|
आपको अगर लगता हो आप उड़ने के काबिल नहीं,
लेकिन में जानता हूँ आपके पंखो में अभी उड़ान बाकी है|

इस अवसर पर आप सभी के लिए मेरा ये सन्देश है कि आप कभी भी अपनी उम्र के कारण निराश ना होना, क्योंकि ये लम्हे और तजुरबे बहुतों को नसीब नहीं हो पाते है। कभी आप हँसना ना छोड़ना इसलिए के आप अब बूढ़े लगने लगे, बल्कि आप बूढ़े उस दिन होने लगोगे जिस दिन हँसना छोड़ दोगे। So you shall always count your age by friends not by years, and count your life by smiles not by tears. 

Thank you for being an example of hard work, love and sacrifice. Thank you to support us in every moments of life and to guide us always with your experience. Young generation shall promise to reciprocate the support with best of our intent and hence I do.
