Divisions in Humanity

Divisions in Humanity

An article by Riya, class-8

Humanity-

Human beings collectively form humanity.

It is a word used in many places like, Stop fighting for humanity.

But this humanity thing is divided into a trillion pieces and this is no trivial issue. The divisions are like the dickens. We have continents, countries, states, cities etc. OK! Theoretically, all these divisions mentioned above are necessary for the better living and government of the people.

But are religions, caste, wealth status, image status needed?

No!

They’re not.

In this case, mum can’t be the word. These divisions show how stony-hearted we, humans are.

On the basis of caste and religion, we divided ourselves into Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists and Muslims etc.

Why are these religions there? Why they are even needed? Can’t we live without them? Are they really necessary?

For these questions, no one can hit the nail on the head.

Okay!!!

We divided ourselves into continents, countries and in further more divisions for the government of the people. Then we divided ourselves into religions for different forms of worship of the God.

But on the basis of wealth and image status, we also divided ourselves into poor and rich.

Now this thing is truly unnecessary. You can’t give a valid reason for this division.

“I have more money than you. My salary is greater than yours. I have this. I have that.”

Blah! Blah! Blah

This is what most of the people say.

We judge a person by his wealth and his image in the society, not by his work or by his heart.

These divisions should be erased from the world OR they will erase the world.

Choose one from the above.

HAPPY CHOOSING!
